We specialize in heat treating high-speed steel (HSS) broaches and precision cutting tools for a well-established customer base across the U.S. and Canada, with deep roots in metro Detroit's broaching industry. The Role Heat treating hardened tool steel to 60-69 Rockwell C can introduce warp and distortion. You'll correct it using hand presses, straightening benches, and our 20-ton hydraulic press, bringing tools back to the customer's spec without cracking or scrapping hardened, high-value tooling. You'll work across both hot straightening (immediately post-quench, where timing and material knowledge matter) and final straightening (post-temper, post-blast). We need someone who can independently handle our full range of materials and job types, including RUSH and
