Prototyping and Fabrication Intern

Mastery Bridge is celebrating our 19th year in business and looking to hire an intern to help in our fabrication and manufacturing team! You'll get to help us create some of our most popular guitar hardware products, and possibly some of our new product prototypes, while focusing on maintaining our high standard of quality and excellence. You will be a great fit if you have the following: Experience working in a machine shop using equipment like drill press, 3/4 axis vertical mill, grinding/polishing wheels Experience with hand tools and measurement equipment such as calipers and micrometers Enjoy working with your hands, creative problem solving, and maintaining a high attention to detail Able to stand on a shop floor to operate machinery and lift upwards of 50 lbs Able to wear personal protective equipment (eyewear, facemasks/respirators, hearing protection, etc) as-needed Preferred background includes: Working with CNC milling machines, including machine operation, G-Code programming, and CNC toolpath generation (using software such as Fusion, Solidworks, etc) Experience reading 2D and 3D drawings, geometric dimensions, and an understanding of GD&T Experience with metal fabrication and production •No AI was used to create this job posting, and in this spirit, we look forward to reading your real, human-made application and resume :)
