This is a great opportunity for a Toolmaker who enjoys precision machining, problem-solving, tooling expertise, and engineering collaboration while supporting the production of critical medical technologies. What you'll be doing: Inspect, troubleshoot, and improve complex molds, dies, and tooling Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine machining requirements Verify dimensions, alignments, and tooling performance Recommend tooling and production equipment design improvements Set up and operate machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, and grinders Manufacture precision components and ensure compliance with specifications Partner with engineering teams to drive tooling performance and continuous improvement initiatives What they're looking for: Two-year technical degree in Tool & Die Making or equivalent hands-on experience Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Toolmaker or Tool & Die Maker Strong understanding of tool steels and material selection for manufacturing applications Thorough knowledge of machine shop practices and precision machining techniques Experience operating lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other manual machining equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and understanding of production equipment functions Knowledge of trigonometry and precision measurement techniques Experience with miniature molds and medical-grade resins is a plus Strong analytical and communication skills
INDMAIN Pay:
$36.00 - $42.00 per hour
