Job Description
Job Scope:
The Toolmaker fabricates, repairs, and maintains tooling used in manufacturing operations. This role reads and interprets blueprints, 3D models, and technical drawings and programs, sets up, and operates CNC machine tools and equipment.Responsibilities:
Read and understand blueprints, 3D models, and drawings Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving design, materials, and processes Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machine tools used in tooling fabrication and repair Utilize precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges as required Design, build, modify, and repair molds, dies, fixtures, and tooling used in rubber manufacturing processes Assist other Tool Shop/Production personnel with projects Troubleshoot mold problems with minimal production downtime Conduct design reviews for new tooling Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized work environment Other duties as assignedRequired:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, 3D models, and technical drawings CNC programming, setup, and operation experience Strong experience with SolidWorks and CamWorks software Precision machining and grinding experience Tool and die fabrication and repair experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferred:
Associate degree in Advanced Manufacturing Design Technology (AMDT) or related field Rubber manufacturing experiencePay:
