Tool Builder Location:

Milford, NH Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Tool Builder to build, repair, modify, and maintain precision tooling, fixtures, gauges, and production equipment used in manufacturing. This position requires strong machining skills, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to work to extremely tight tolerances. Responsibilities Build, assemble, repair, and maintain production tooling and fixtures. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models. Machine precision components using manual and CNC equipment. Troubleshoot tooling issues to minimize production downtime. Modify existing tooling to improve quality and productivity. Perform preventative maintenance on tooling. Verify tooling dimensions using precision measuring equipment. Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on new tooling projects. Maintain documentation and follow quality standards. Observe all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Tool & Die, Toolmaking, or Precision Machining education preferred. Experience building or repairing production tooling. Strong blueprint reading skills. Experience operating manual mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC equipment. Knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience in precision manufacturing. CAD/CAM familiarity. Welding or EDM experience is a plus.

$18.00 - $45.00 per hour
