SWA is hiring an experienced Tool & Die Maker for an open manufacturing role in Franklin, OH.

Pay:

Up to $30.00/hr, based on experience

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Overtime:

Friday overtime may be required based on production needs This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Tool & Die Maker who takes pride in precision work, problem-solving, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations. Consideration Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Must pas a criminal background check and drug test Previous experience as a Tool & Die Maker, Toolmaker, or similar tooling professional in a manufacturing environment. Experience building, repairing, modifying, and maintaining dies, tooling, and fixtures. Ability to set up and operate common tool room equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to assist production teams with tooling-related issues. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Willingness to learn new processes and continue developing technical skills. Ability to work extended hours during peak production periods or special projects. Responsibilities Build, repair, modify, and maintain dies, tooling, fixtures, and related manufacturing equipment. Set up and operate tool room machinery and equipment safely and accurately. Inspect tooling and components for wear, damage, and dimensional issues. Troubleshoot tooling problems and assist production teams with resolving manufacturing issues. Perform repairs and adjustments needed to maintain production quality and efficiency. Read and interpret applicable drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Maintain tooling to required specifications and tolerances. Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement efforts. Maintain accurate records of tooling repairs, modifications, and maintenance work. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures. Physical Requirements Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Perform bending, twisting, turning, carrying, walking, sitting, stooping, and kneeling as required. Successfully complete required vision screenings. Work additional hours when necessary to support production needs. Eligibility Requirements This position involves access to export-controlled technology and is restricted to U.S. persons , including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other protected individuals as defined under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) . Verification of eligibility will be required prior to employment.
