Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc is seeking a Large Press Operator to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will set up and operate large mechanical and hydraulic presses to produce metal components to exact specifications. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting tooling, adjusting press controls, performing quality checks, and completing production documentation. You will follow strict safety procedures, conduct routine equipment inspections, and coordinate with maintenance when issues arise. Responsibilities Set up and operate large mechanical and hydraulic presses per production specifications Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings Select, install, and adjust dies, tooling, and press settings for each job Inspect parts using gauges and measuring tools to ensure quality standards Monitor press operation, identify issues, and take corrective action Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance to resolve equipment problems Support continuous improvement efforts in production processes Required Skills Large press setup and operation Mechanical and hydraulic press knowledge Blueprint and technical drawing reading Use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges Mechanical troubleshooting Machine tooling and die setup Quality inspection and documentation Basic preventive maintenance Knowledge of OSHA safety standards Manufacturing process improvement
