Parker Lord has an immediate opening for a Tool Maker C at the Robison Road facility in Erie, PA within the Tool Room department. The Tool Maker C is responsible for planning, performing and coordinating all required machining functions, and sharing in the responsibility for the manufacture or repair of moderate complexity tooling involving a specialized skill and knowledge of tool building practices. This position falls within the scope of the FAA Drug and Alcohol program which includes a random testing program and successful completion of an FAA pre-employment drug screen. Candidates must be able to work off shift (2nd or 3rd) for an extended period of time. Responsibilities Plan, perform and coordinate all required machining functions, and share in the responsibility for the manufacture or repair of moderate complexity tooling involving a specialized skill and knowledge of tool building practices. Most work will be moderate complexity design and construction but could include some intricate design and construction. Work from detailed blueprints, sketches, models, and verbal instructions in order to meet quality control standards. Inspect work during build to ensure compliance to quality specifications.
