Batch Maker Function of Beauty - 2.1 Paxinos, PA Job Details Full-time $19 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Shop math Machine operation safety procedures Cleaning Full Job Description Function of Beauty is a custom beauty and haircare brand that formulates personalized shampoos, conditioners, and hair care products based on individual hair profiles and goals.
Position Summary:
The Batch Maker is part of a detailed-oriented, problem-solving team responsible for mixing ingredients and following the required steps determined by the product formula to produce quality, world-class customizable hair, skin, and body care products.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow the established manufacturing process to make a batch. Calculate amounts of ingredients needed for various batch requirements Weigh raw materials as determined by formula requirements for batch preparation Mix, blend, cook, pump, and perform all tasks related to completing all required batches following batch record and job order schedule Understand and follow safety hazards and procedures in operation, including proper PPE use. Follow site current GMP and GDP requirements, including data integrity requirements for Batch documentation. Perform in-process checks on the batches and record all notable characteristics, and introduces color adjustments as required
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Experience in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining, and cleaning automated equipment Good math skills, including understanding measurement units (g, kg, lb., l, gal, %, etc.) Ability to perform tasks carefully, accurately, and efficiently following specific instructions and complying with quality and safety standards Ability to problem solve and take the initiative with solid communication skills and team-focus
Physical Demands:
Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds each Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation) Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours Able to work any shift, including overtime
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 10:00AM - 8:00PM Hourly rate: $19 per hour
