Job Description

Tool & Die Maker We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled trades professional with experience building, repairing, and troubleshooting progressive and compound dies in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Determine appropriate material layouts, machining sequences, setups, and work holding methods for tooling and component production Manufacture and assemble jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies Plan and perform setups and operations on a variety of conventional and CNC machine-shop equipment, selecting appropriate cutting tools, feeds, speeds, coolants, and lubricants based on material and required tolerances Operate CNC machining equipment and perform adjustments as necessary to maintain required part specifications Assemble, fit, modify, and troubleshoot tooling, dies, fixtures, and related equipment. Set up, test, and adjust forming or production tooling; identify the source of tooling issues and make appropriate corrections to achieve required product specifications Develop, modify, load, and verify CNC programs used on vertical machining equipment Perform additional machining, tooling, maintenance, or production-support activities as required by operational needs Qualifications Strong background in tool & die, metal stamping, and precision machining. Experience operating manual and CNC machine tools. Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues and perform precision fitting and assembly. Experience with CNC programming software such as GibbsCAM or Esprit is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
