Job Description

Pay :
$19-22/hr based on skillset
Hours:
Night shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday. Training will be on day shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm for approximately 6 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build a variety of tools, engineering changes, molds, templates, fixtures and jigs. Set-up, adjusts and operates all types of machine shop equipment. Select and lay out materials. Draw sketches and calculate dimensions as required. Repair or modify existing tools. Calculate shrink rate dimensions for different plastics. Team player with the ability to work on miniature, close-tolerance parts and fixtures with minimum supervision. Train mold technicians to increase their knowledge and skills in the areas of troubleshooting and mold repair techniques.
REQUIREMENTS
High school or equivalent preferred Demonstrate acceptable layout welding skills and quality Able to communicate effectively over the phone and before small groups of people. Demonstrate basic computer skills. Have appropriate reading, clerical, and basic mathematical skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1+ yrs. tool & die manufacturing experience Related vocational certificate or associates degree CNC programming with milling and EDM machine experience Able to read blue prints and reverse design parts and pieces from molds and equipment The Toro Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
