This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of technically challenging projects within a long-established manufacturing business. You will use your manual machining expertise to build, repair and improve precision dies, molds, jigs and fixtures from initial drawings through to production. The company is a specialist manufacturer with over 100 years of history, known for its long employee tenure, strong internal promotion and supportive, family-oriented culture. They continue to grow and invest in their operation and offer excellent long-term stability and development opportunities. In this role, you will set up and operate manual mills, Bridgeports, lathes and surface grinders. You will build dies from scratch, perform precision grinding and polishing, repair production tooling and support new tooling from commissioning through to production. This role would suit an experienced Tool & Die Maker, Mold Maker or Manual Machinist who can work independently from CAD drawings and blueprints and is looking for varied technical work, long-term stability and excellent company benefits.

The Role:

Build, repair and improve dies, molds, jigs, fixtures and precision production tooling Set up and operate Bridgeports, manual mills, lathes and surface-grinding equipment Perform precision grinding, polishing, heat treatment and troubleshooting of production tooling Work from CAD drawings and blueprints, with opportunities to use CNC and EDM equipment

The Person:

Tool & Die Maker, Mold Maker, Toolmaker or experienced Manual Machinist Strong manual machining background with the ability to build precision tooling from scratch Able to read CAD drawings and blueprints and work independently using critical thinking and problem-solving skills
