Composite Breakout Technician - Saxon Hiring Saxon is hiring for this role.
Pay Rate:
$45.00/hour
Weekly Per Diem:
$857.00
Travel Bonus:
$250.00 Position Summary Senior/Team Lead-level manufacturing professional responsible for composite part breakout, processing, and finishing. Works independently with limited supervision and may provide guidance to other team members. Responsibilities Remove plaster from composite parts using impact hammers and hand tools. Remove bagging materials from cured composite parts. Perform surface preparation and sanding. Use acetone or alcohol to remove stuck materials when required. Identify defective materials or parts. Provide guidance and assistance to team members as needed. Follow safety, quality, and production requirements. Qualifications Ability to read and follow detailed instructions. Intermediate to advanced math skills. Experience using hand and power tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn new technology and computer systems. High School Diploma/GED preferred. 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred. Working Conditions Indoor manufacturing environment; temperatures may vary. Exposure to noise, equipment, and manufacturing materials. Ability to handle objects up to 50 lbs. Requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing/walking for 8-12+ hours per day. Required PPE will be provided and must be worn on the production floor.
