Rancho Pauma Mutual Water Company is hiring a Water Utility Worker. We are a small but efficient Water Company and seek to hire operators that are team players. The Company is looking for operators that are willing to cross train and complement our hard working team. Under general supervision, performs a variety of semi-skilled to skilled heavy manual work, alone or as a member of a crew, in the construction, maintenance, and repair of water distribution and treatment systems or related utility functions. This position requires to work stand-by on a rotational basis and report to work on a callback basis as needed within a designated time frame. This is a non-exempt, hourly position that works in direct contact with the Utility Department Supervisor and the general public in the scope of his or her duties. Interested candidates should have the following: SWRCB Water Treatment Operator Grade 1 Certification SWRCB Water Distribution Operator Grade 1 Certification Possession of a valid Class C driver's license Wage is dependent on qualifications and experience.
