The Sanitation Supervisor will oversee daily sanitation operations, assign and prioritize work, train and coach employees, verify cleaning and sanitation activities, maintain accurate documentation, and support compliance with SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP principles, allergen controls, chemical-safety requirements, and company policies.

This is a hands-on leadership position that works closely with Quality Assurance, Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Safety to maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready manufacturing environment.
salary:

High SchoolResponsibilities Daily Operations:
Plan, assign, and monitor shift sanitation tasks based on production schedules, equipment usage, and allergen risks.
Supervision & Training:
Lead shift meetings, coach employees on SSOPs/GMPs, enforce safety and PPE rules, and hold staff accountable for work quality.
Equipment & Facility Cleaning:
Oversee complete cleaning, sanitizing, disassembly, reassembly, and contamination prevention for production lines, drains, and common areas.
Chemical Safety & Inventory:
Enforce correct chemical usage, contact times, and concentrations; maintain SDS/spill readiness and manage supply inventory.
Pre-Op & Testing:
Perform visual pre-op inspections, ATP swabs, and allergen testing to verify equipment readiness before production starts.
Issue Resolution:
Execute immediate corrective cleaning/re-testing on failures, document outcomes, and escalate major food-safety risks to the QA Manager.
Audit-Ready Documentation:
Maintain precise logs (cleaning, chemical concentrations, ATP/allergen results, training) to support SQF, regulatory, and customer audits.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Partner with QA, Production, Maintenance, and incoming/outgoing supervisors to resolve equipment issues and ensure seamless shift handoffs.
