Job Description

Join Our Team as a Waste Water Senior Operator and Make a Difference in Environmental Stewardship! As a Waste Water Senior Operator at Sussex County, DE, you'll play a key role in maintaining and operating our state-of-the-art treatment systems, ensuring clean water for our community. What You'll Need:
A current Delaware Level II Wastewater license (WW license) At least 3 years of acceptable operating experience in wastewater treatment Proficiency in operating a shift independently, including the ability to rebuild PC pumps Strong knowledge of operation and maintenance of wastewater facilities Ability to perform process control lab work Commitment to safety protocols, including PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and process safety management A high school diploma or equivalent Nice to
Have:
Additional certifications or training in wastewater management Experience with troubleshooting and repairing wastewater equipment Familiarity with process optimization and troubleshooting techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of hands-on operating experience with a valid Level II WW license
Other Requirements:
