Job Click Here Water Treatment Plant Operator Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for the management of the water treatment plant.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the management and tracking of all chemical usage. Responsible for the adjustment of process to ensure adherence to SOC guidelines for maximum efficiency. Responsible for managing, tracking, and reporting disposal of generated waste. Works with the EHS Manager in ordering supplies. Participate and support, for every employee, a safe work environment by following all facility safety and compliance policies and procedures. Participate and support, for every employee, and visitor; the adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. Water treatment process certified (Certification by the State of Indiana) Minimum of 6 months-4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic understanding of Safety procedures Critical decision-making ability. Flexibility and adaptability and the ability to focus and pay attention to detail. Physical Requirements (must be able to meet with or without accommodation): Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time Lifting and carrying: 0-49 lbs. Pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, stooping, and kneeling Reaching, grasping, and performing repetitive motions Walking throughout the facility and climbing stairs multiple times per shift Working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions while monitoring and inspecting external process equipment Maintaining visual focus and concentration on computer-based Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens with multiple views, alarms, and moving process indicators for extended periods of time Monitoring multiple process variables simultaneously and responding to changing conditions in a timely manner Working independently for extended periods with limited direct supervision while maintaining situational awareness and effective communication with other team members Distinguishing colors, symbols, and information displayed on computer screens, gauges, and process monitoring equipment Responding to process issues and emergencies by traveling throughout the facility as needed 6:45am-7:00pm $24.00 per hour Connersville, IN Please send resumes to smorales@elitestaffinginc.com All employees of Elite Staffing must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
