• What You Will Do:

• The Lead Person provides directions for the sanitation crew within a certain area of the plant. This position is trained in multiple jobs, can assist the training team members, and provide support as requested by the supervisor in that area.
• Job duties include:
• + Work cooperatively with management, team members, customers, + and regulatory agencies to ensure sanitation procedures are followed.

+ Maintain + open communications with all team members in the plant. Meet with the + Supervisor on a regular basis to ensure all issues are being properly handled + and addressed, including missing or damaged parts and equipment. + Clean + and sanitize equipment and workspace in a designated area of the plant. + Ensure + team members in assigned area are completing job tasks to QA and USDA + standards. Inspect equipment to ensure all areas are clean for pre-op + inspections. + Handle + chemicals to ensure usage is within specified limits. + Monitor + and provide personal protective equipment ('PPE'). + Other + duties as assigned.

• Your Must Haves:

• + Must be 18 years of age or older. + Leadership and decision making skills are required. + 6 or more months of experience in sanitation and/or food processing industry. + Ability to take direction and instruction from manager and be accountable for own actions. + Safety awareness and attention to detail. + Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations.
