Job Description

The City of Swanville (population 326) is seeking a full-time Water/Wastewater/City Maintenance employee. Candidate must live within 30 miles of Swanville or be willing to relocate within 6 months of hire. Primary Responsibilities Operation and maintenance of the City's Water and Wastewater systems. General Public works duties, including street maintenance, snow removal, lawn mowing, tree trimming, etc. minor repair on city buildings and equipment (We can email you with more detailed job descriptions ) Licensing Requirements Candidates must possess-or be willing to obtain the following within 3 months of hire Class B Wastewater Operator License Class D Water Operator License Type 4 Land application License Class B Driver's License Work schedule and expectations Full-time, Monday -Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday each Must be willing to respond to after-hour emergencies, including evenings, nights, holidays and weekends Must pass a pre-employment drug screening Benefits 2 weeks' Vacation Minnesota ESST and Paid leave Holiday pay Minnesota PERA retirement Benefits Stipend for Healthcare, disability and cellphone Use of company vehicle during work hours

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
