Job Summary This position has responsibility for the successful maintenance & operation of the wastewater treatment plant. Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process and management
• Operates sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment to control flow and processing of sewage
• Perform daily checks of the wastewater treatment process and periodic checks of pump stations
• Responsible for preventative maintenance of plant equipment and perform repairs of machinery and equipment as needed
• Read and interpret meters and gauges that monitor the purification process and operation
• Collects and records data for record maintenance and reporting
• Performs facility grounds maintenance including cleaning equipment and tanks
• Perform general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, clean-ups, pruning, and other typical landscape maintenance tasks
• Performs other related duties as directed Qualifications Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Must possess a state-issued wastewater operator certification
• Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records required
• Experience within a water/wastewater treatment environment
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be available to work weekends and 'on-call' as needed Share job details to
