Especially focused on trench safety and confined space protocols.

Supervise all work to ensure total compliance with project layouts, grades, and project owner standards.
Provide daily reports significant project facts, events, and conditions, timecards, delivery tickets, etc. using an electronic Ipad
Must maintain communication with management relating to any and all job activities including (but not limited to) scheduling conflicts, changes in scope of work, employees, equipment, field issues and obstacles etc.
Resolve onsite technical field issues and obstacles to prevent project downtime or cost overruns.
Perform precise site layouts utilizing Topcon or GPS Rover systems. Required Qualifications & Experience
OSHA 30 certification required
Minimum of 3 years of field experience in underground utility construction, including water, sewer, and storm systems.
Proven ability to lead crews with at least 1 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Advanced knowledge of excavation, pipe installation, % slopes, grading, and trenching requirements, reading plans, etc.
Must be able to understand surveying layouts, survey staking, survey grades, offsets, etc.
Proficiency in using construction management software such as Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel.
Valid Driver's License is required. Preferred Qualifications
Confined space certification
Erosion Control Certification
Trench Safety Certification
Traffic Control Certification
Class A CDL a plus but not required
DOT and Municipal experience a plus
