Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Water and Sewer Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects related to water distribution and sewer systems. This role is vital in ensuring that all infrastructure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate crews, manage schedules, review technical drawings, and ensure compliance with all safety and construction regulations. Your expertise will drive project success from start to finish, fostering teamwork and maintaining rigorous safety standards throughout every phase of construction. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations on construction sites, managing crews engaged in water and sewer infrastructure projects Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics to guide installation and repair work accurately Coordinate project schedules using construction management software Review construction drawings and schematics for accuracy, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain workflow efficiency while adhering to safety protocols Enforce federal construction safety regulations including OSHA standards; conduct safety meetings and inspections regularly Oversee quality control processes, ensuring work meets industry standards and project requirements Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist in construction estimating to keep projects financially on track Conduct construction site safety training sessions; manage crew management activities including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Ensure proper use of testing equipment like ohmmeters for electrical inspections within water/sewer systems Experience Proven management experience supervising teams in heavy civil or commercial construction environments involving water or sewer infrastructure Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of construction regulations and safety standards (OSHA compliance) Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans with precision Background in managing contracts, bidding processes (HeavyBid), budgeting, and project estimating within the construction industry Prior experience supervising crews on pipeline installation or repair projects involving heavy machinery and electrical testing tools like ohmmeters Strong communication skills for effective managerial oversight; ability to collaborate with engineers, clients, subcontractors, and team members effectively Join us as a Water and Sewer Foreman where your leadership will shape vital infrastructure projects that impact communities.
