Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Wastewater Treatment Assistant and play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and environmental compliance of our wastewater treatment facilities. You will support the safe and effective management of wastewater systems, contributing to sustainable water utility practices while gaining valuable industry knowledge. Responsibilities Assist with the operation and monitoring of wastewater treatment plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and water treatment systems. Collect and record data related to water quality, flow rates, chemical levels, and system performance to support operational decisions. Maintaining tools and equipment Seasonal mowing and Municipal property maintenance Support maintenance activities such as equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and heavy equipment operation with proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Swimming Pool Maintenance Participate in safety training sessions and adhere strictly to all safety regulations while working with heavy lifting tasks and industrial pump systems. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Good communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to obtain Class I and Class II Wastewater Operator Licenses Wednesday-Sunday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Pay based on experience We're looking for motivated individuals eager to learn, grow their technical expertise, and contribute to vital water utility operations.
