Our Van Wert Cooked Meats Plant in Van Wert County, Ohio creates, cooks, and slices some of the highest quality deli products on the market for brands you know and trust. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Water Systems Technician to join our team in Van Wert. The primary goal of this position is to maintain the DAF building and wastewater equipment, as well as the potable water system, in such a manner as to minimize down time and maximize the efficiency of the operation.

SHIFT HOURS

Monday through Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm

HOURLY RATE

$21.65 - $27.65 depending on experience

Job Functions:

Take water and wastewater samples on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, as needed.

Operate and monitor all water systems equipment.

Complete maintenance and repairs on water systems and lagoon equipment.

Ensure compliance with all EPA regulations.

Complete required EPA paperwork.

Monitor and replace chemicals for water systems.

Monitor and assist in sludge removal on a weekly basis.
