RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Perform operational maintenance on all water treatment systems. Pump blood from kill room. Monitors wastewater treatment plant and identifies needed changes and potential problems; makes necessary adjustments. Performs chemical analysis of water samples. Cleans drain pads. Operates a computer to monitor pump stations, plant operations, and alarms. Maintains daily records and shift logs of plant operations. Reviews readings from meters, computers, and instruments. Yard jockey - drives wastewater truck. Oversees the operation of per-treatment equipment. Ensure the Proper operation of rendering and Offal equipment. Be willing to cross train and learn all task in department. Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years old or older. Ability to obtain a Wastewater Operator's license. Valid Driver's license, High School Diploma/GED. Ability to maintain equipment after training Excellent attendance record. Excellent communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Exposure consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. Exposure to outside temperatures. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db. You must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. Must handle the weight of 8 to 10 lbs. repetitively, occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling 40 to 70 lbs. Exposure to chemicals used in the poultry processing facility. Exposure to dust, feathers and chemicals used in poultry processing facility. Ability to work in a stationary position, on feet for the entire shift. Ability to work with heavy machinery for the duration of the shift. Ability to climb steps and to access and egress through the production environment.
