Seasoned Water Treatment Installation & Service Technician ​

Full-Time 1099 contractor $700 to $1000 per installation We are looking for a Seasoned Water Treatment Installer / Service Technician to join our growing team in the Midlands. In this role, you will be responsible for the professional installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of residential and commercial water treatment systems, including whole-house softeners, carbon filters, reverse osmosis (RO) units, and UV systems. ​If you are a hands-on mechanical veteran who takes pride in clean plumbing work, values independent field operations, and knows how to treat homeowners with respect, we want to talk to you. Key Responsibilities ​

System Installations:

Accurately install whole-house water softeners, conditioners, multi-stage filtration units, RO systems, and UV disinfection setups. ​

Service & Troubleshooting:

Diagnose, service, and repair existing water treatment equipment, control valves, and pumps. ​

Plumbing Integration:

Confidently tie new filtration loops into existing copper, PEX, PVC, and galvanized home plumbing lines with clean, professional craftsmanship. ​

Route Management:

Operate and maintain a company service vehicle, keeping inventory, tools, and parts organized daily. ​

Customer Communication:

Explain system operations and maintenance basics clearly to homeowners upon completion of the job, ensuring a 5-star customer experience. ​

Documentation:

Complete daily work orders, installation checklists, and service notes accurately. What We're Looking For (Requirements) ​

Experience:

Proven, hands-on experience (3+ years preferred) in water treatment installation, plumbing, or mechanical field service. ​

Technical Know-How:

Strong working knowledge of residential plumbing systems, water flow dynamics, electrical basics (control valves/power heads), and pressure management. ​

Driving Record:

Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (insurable). ​

Work Ethic:

Highly reliable, self-motivated, and capable of managing a daily independent route across the Columbia/Midlands region. ​

Professional Presentation:

Great communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
