Salaried:
$80,731.76/year; 2080 hours/year
Closing Date:
Until Filled Associate's degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two (2) years of college education with emphasis in Chemistry, Biology, Technical Engineering or a closely related field, supplemented by ten (10) years of experience in water production plant operations, some of which have been in a supervisory capacity Must possess "B" Water Treatment Operator's license or obtain upon hire or promotion in the timeframe prescribed by Sout Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (SCLLR) Valid South Carolina driver's license The Groundwater Superintendent supervises and performs skilled technical work in the daily operation of the City's offsite groundwater plants and related facilities; prepares and maintains required records and reports, and performs related work as required. Work includes the coordination and supervision of daily groundwater production/plant operations and equipment maintenance and repair activities, as well as the supervision of subordinate technical and maintenance staff. This position reports to the Water Resources Manager.
