Job Summary:
Responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the water treatment plant to ensure safe and compliant drinking water production in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor water treatment systems and equipment. Perform routine testing and sampling of water quality. Maintain accurate operational logs and reports. Adjust chemical feed rates and treatment processes as needed. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment. Ensure compliance with TCEQ and other regulatory standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Preferred Experience:
1+ year of experience in water treatment operations preferred. Knowledge of water distribution and treatment systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Valid Driver's License. 1+ year experience preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials when required. Compensation will be discussed during the interview.
