We self-perform water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and site work for commercial projects within roughly 30 miles of Waco. Position Summary We are hiring an experienced Senior Superintendent to manage multiple active jobsites at once and oversee our project Foremen. This is a hands-on leadership role for a proven Superintendent who already knows how to run multiple crews and keep several jobs on schedule. Candidates who came up through the trade and have done the work of a pipe layer themselves are strongly preferred, because we want a Superintendent who knows firsthand what it takes to get pipe in the ground right. You will be responsible for production, schedule, quality, and safety across several concurrent projects. Responsibilities Manage multiple commercial civil and utility projects simultaneously Supervise, direct, and develop project Foremen and their crews Read and interpret construction drawings, cut sheets, and elevations for sewer and storm drainage Shoot and verify grade with a laser Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials across jobsites Maintain daily logs, drawings, and project documentation in Procore Enforce company safety standards and OSHA requirements on every site Communicate with project managers, inspectors, engineers, and owners Minimum Requirements 10+ years of civil construction experience laying water and sewer. This is a hard requirement. Proven supervisory track record with verifiable references Ability to read construction drawings, cut sheets, and elevations Proficient at shooting grade with a laser Working knowledge of Procore or similar construction management software OSHA 30 certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire RME-Underground license, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Local to the Waco area. All of our work is within roughly 30 miles of Waco, and we are not hiring a traveling Superintendent. Physically fit for field work, including the ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience as a pipe layer on water and sewer crews GPS and surveying experience, including construction staking Familiarity with Leica survey equipment Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Benefits package Company truck Company computer Please Note The requirements above are not preferences.
