Hinton, VA 22831 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wastewater Technician to join our team on the third shift in Hinton, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring wastewater treatment facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment and systems during the third shift. Collect and analyze samples to ensure water quality meets regulatory standards. Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on treatment plant equipment. Maintain accurate logs and records of plant operations and maintenance activities. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and operational issues during the shift. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively with supervisors. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in wastewater treatment preferred. Previous experience in wastewater treatment or related field is a plus. Ability to work independently during overnight hours (third shift). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting. Reliable transportation. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment.
