Job Description
Full Job Description The Town of Hartford, Vermont is seeking a candidate for the position of Wastewater Operator I to perform a variety of routine tasks and functions related to the operation and maintenance of the Towns Wastewater Treatment Facilities, including plant, pumping stations, leach fields, and collection system. Minimum qualifications include ability to achieve a Vermont Grade 1DM Wastewater Certification within 2 years of hire; high school diploma, a valid drivers license, ability to achieve a Class B Commercial Driver's License within 1 year of hire, ability to operate and repair equipment; and a team player who is self-motivated. This is a full-time position where pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications ranging from $23.41 to $24.96 per hour.
