www.governmentjobs.com/careers/beloitwi The City of Beloit has an employment opportunity in the Water Resources Division of the Department of Public Works and is currently accepting applications for the position of an Equipment Operator- Wastewater. This position is responsible for performing semi-skilled manual labor either as an individual or in a team for the maintenance of the sanitary and storm water collection systems. May assist with bio-solids recycling operations and operate land application equipment as needed. Position also assists in construction and maintenance of various sanitary sewer, wastewater treatment, storm water and public drinking water facilities. Qualifications 1. High School Diploma or equivalent 2. A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record 3. Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) 4. Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the "N" tank vehicle endorsement is preferred 5. A minimum of one (1) year of responsible work experience, with experience in construction and maintenance of public works or utility systems preferred. 6. Other combinations of training and/or experience which can be demonstrated to result in the possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position will also be considered To apply for this position, please submit your name and general information.
