LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively within the Maintenance Department and with other team members as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• The work is classified as "heavy".
• Ability to perform the tasks and responsibilities of the position in a safe and effective manner including lifting up-to 70 lbs., climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs.
• Exposure to high noise levels, moving aircraft and equipment, dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, exposure to hazardous materials, exhaust fumes, working in confined spaces for extended periods, and working outside in harsh winter conditions for up to 2 hours at a time.

Use of personal protective equipment including respirators.
