The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of MIG welding experience, preferably in pipe fabrication and manufacturing environments. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, perform high-quality welds, maintain a safe work environment, and meet production deadlines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on pipes and related components according to specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and welding procedures. Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, fitting, and cleaning surfaces. Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with company standards. Operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety regulations and company policies. Assist with fabrication and assembly tasks as needed. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of MIG welding experience , preferably in pipe welding applications. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Knowledge of welding safety procedures and best practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 40+ pounds regularly. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods. Ability to work in a manufacturing, fabrication, or shop environment. Certifications Current welding certification preferred. Must have the ability to obtain a welding certification within a designated period of employment if not currently certified.
