Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our growing team in Gadsden, Alabama. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding structural steel and miscellaneous metal products according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced fabrication environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication details. Lay out, fit, and assemble structural steel components and fabrication projects. Perform MIG, FCAW, and other welding processes as required. Verify dimensions and maintain tolerances to ensure quality standards are met. Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gadsden, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
