Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques and tools. This role is essential for producing high-quality metal components (mostly stainless, sheet metal) and structures according to specifications and blueprints. The Tig Welder will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet industry standards. Duties
- Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring precision and quality in all welds.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Fabricate metal components using power tools, plasma cutting, and machining techniques.
- Utilize micrometers and other measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions of finished products.
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to build complex assemblies and structures as required by project specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to minimize hazards. Skills
- Proficient in TIG welding techniques with a solid understanding of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding methods.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and machining processes.
- Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documents related to welding projects.
- Capable of performing precise measurements using micrometers and other measuring devices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
