Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality assemblies that meet strict safety and quality standards, supporting our mission to deliver rugged solutions for challenging environments. Responsibilities Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to ensure precise fabrication and assembly of metal components Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in welding environments Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy during fabrication processes Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other metal materials Fabricate ductwork, structural components, and custom metal parts in accordance with blueprints and technical specifications Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA standards Collaborate with team members on assembly projects involving mechanical fabrication, welding, and metal materials handling Skills Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for mechanical fabrication projects Skilled in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and plasma cutting Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and shop math effectively Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment assembly and maintenance Experience working with sheet metal fabrication and ductwork manufacturing Familiarity with construction experience involving heavy machinery or structural steel fabrication Competence in using hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, soldering tools, and assembly hardware Knowledge of American Welding Society (AWS) standards for quality assurance in welding practices Adherence to safety protocols at all times during fabrication activities Join our team if you're passionate about crafting durable metal solutions in a fast-paced environment!
