Gilbert, AZ Job Details Full-time From $25 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Saws Measuring tapes Mechanical fabrication Sheet metal fabrication Welders (tool) Dimensional measurements Attention to detail Steel Manufacturing Full Job Description Welder / Metal Fabricator We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment . The majority of the work involves fabricating and welding light-gauge steel, angle, tubing, and sheet metal . Previous professional welding and fabrication experience is required. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can come in with the skills and experience necessary to contribute immediately, work efficiently, and produce consistent, quality work. Responsibilities Weld and fabricate light-gauge steel components Work with angle, square and rectangular tubing, and sheet metal Measure, cut, fit, tack, and assemble components Produce clean, consistent welds Use grinders, saws, drills, and other common fabrication tools Read basic drawings, measurements, and specifications Check completed work for proper fit, dimensions, and quality Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with other fabrication and manufacturing tasks as needed Requirements Previous professional welding and metal fabrication experience is required Experience working with light-gauge steel Experience fabricating angle, tubing, and sheet metal Ability to produce clean, consistent welds Comfortable using common fabrication and shop tools Ability to accurately read a tape measure Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good attention to detail and workmanship Dependable and punctual Energetic with a strong work ethic Able to work independently and as part of a team Willing to work overtime when needed Pay & Schedule Competitive hourly pay based on experience Full-time position Overtime available In-person position We're looking for someone who shows up ready to work, stays productive, and takes pride in doing the job right.
