Fleming Trailers is seeking an entry-level Welder Apprentice to join our team in Glendale, AZ. This role is designed for individuals with mechanical aptitude who are interested in learning MIG welding and fabrication in a production environment. The Welder Apprentice will support experienced welders and fabricators while developing hands-on skills and shop knowledge. Fleming Trailers is part of Handi Products, a privately held, growing organization that helps people live a better life through products in the wheelchair accessibility, material handling, and slip and fall prevention arenas. Our national teams work closely with customers to deliver custom, practical solutions for industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential needs. What You'll Do Assist with MIG welding and fabrication of trailers and ramps in a production environment Learn basic welding techniques, shop practices, and safety procedures Support material preparation including cutting, grinding, and cleaning Assist with assembly of trailer components and general shop tasks Operate hand tools and basic shop equipment safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow direction from supervisors and experienced welders Other duties may be assigned as business needs evolve What You Bring Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn welding and fabrication skills Ability to use basic hand tools Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Ability to work in a production shop environment Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods Strong reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail Willingness to be trained on forklifts and shop equipment Preferred Previous experience in a shop or manufacturing environment Our C.I.T.E.   • 2:30 PM, Monday
  • Friday Pay & Benefits $16
