The role involves reading blueprints, preparing materials, operating welding tools, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Operate welding equipment to join, repair, or fabricate metal components. Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces. Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition. Follow all workplace safety procedures and regulations. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous welding experience preferred. Knowledge of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods. Lift and move heavy materials as needed.
