We are seeking a skilled Welder/Manufacturer to join our [industry type] team. Responsibilities:
Perform welding tasks using a variety of techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding, to fabricate components and products. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate assembly and alignment. Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently, adhering to company and industry safety protocols. Collaborate with team members, including engineers and designers, to discuss project requirements and resolve any fabrication challenges. Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping components to ensure proper fit and welding quality. Maintain welding equipment by performing regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and conducting routine maintenance. Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. Adhere to welding procedures and guidelines, ensuring the proper selection of welding materials and techniques for each project. Monitor inventory of welding supplies and materials, and submit orders for replenishment as needed. Document work progress, materials used, and completed projects for recordkeeping and reporting purposes. Continuously seek opportunities to improve welding techniques, processes, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical training in welding is preferred. 3 years of experience as a Welder/Manufacturer, preferably in the agriculture sector. Proven proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques, with the ability to work with a variety of metals and materials. Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and precise welds. Knowledge of welding safety protocols and the ability to work in compliance with safety regulations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding equipment and issues. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Physical stamina and dexterity to work in a variety of positions, including standing, kneeling, and bending, for extended periods. Welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.
