Job Description

MIG Welders - Day Shift /
Swing Shift Location :
Near I-25/Mulberry in Ft.
Collins Pay:
$22-$27 per hour (based on weld test/interview) •$1.50 shift differential for swing shift
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday Day Shift:
5:00 am - 3:30 pm Swing Shift 2:30 pm - 1:00 am •
THIS IS A TEMP TO HIRE ROLE
About the Role We are seeking skilled MIG Welders to join our structural welding team. In this role, you will fabricate and assemble customer‑specified buildings and components with precision, strength, and durability. You'll work with steel and other metals to construct frameworks and support structures that meet exact specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Lay out, fit, and connect parts to be welded; calculate production measurements Set up and operate welding machines for metal fabrication and assembly Troubleshoot welding equipment issues Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces using fixtures according to design requirements Inspect, measure, and test completed workpieces to ensure specification compliance Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts Perform additional shop duties such as cutting, assembly, or kitting as needed Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures; use required PPE Complete cleaning and maintenance tasks to support a safe, efficient work environment Willingness to cross‑train and assist in other shop functions Qualifications Competencies Ability to pass 3G FCAW test Ability to pass 3G GMAW test Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Welding trade school certificate a plus Minimum of one year of welding experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods Manual dexterity and mobility required
