Largo, FL 33773 with project work in St. Pete Beach, FL 33706 Immortal Metals is seeking a dependable structural steel welder for an immediate project opening beginning October 13 . We are looking for someone who is qualified to perform structural welding to

requirements and is proficient with SMAW/stick welding . This is a short-term project expected to last approximately two weeks, with the possibility of extending several additional days depending on project progress. There may also be opportunities for additional work in the future for the right person. Responsibilities Perform structural steel welding using SMAW/stick welding processes Produce quality welds in accordance with

requirements and project specifications Weld in required positions, including vertical and overhead as needed Read and follow fabrication drawings, weld symbols, measurements, and instructions Fit, tack, grind, prep, and perform other basic fabrication tasks as needed Inspect your own work and maintain consistent weld quality Follow shop and jobsite safety requirements Work effectively both independently and alongside our fabrication/installation team Requirements Current documented

structural welding qualification/certification Proficiency with SMAW/stick welding; experience with 7018 preferred Ability to perform structural welds in multiple positions Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic fabrication drawings and weld symbols Reliable transportation Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently without constant supervision Ability to provide documentation of welding qualifications Must be willing to demonstrate welding ability or complete a weld test if requested Must be available to begin work on or around October 13, 2026 We are open to both experienced welders and recently certified welders with strong hands-on ability and a willingness to work . Extensive years of experience are not required if you can demonstrate that you can produce sound structural welds and follow project requirements. Some work will take place at our fabrication facility in Largo, Florida , with the majority of work occurring at a project site in St. Pete Beach . Schedule and daily hours may vary depending on project progress. Approximately 30-45 hours per week are anticipated. The project is expected to run through approximately October 26-30 .
