We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our production team that will support the company's overall growth strategy by welding and fabricating suspended access equipment including hoists, powered platforms, davits, tieback anchors, rigging, safety equipment and accessories. This position encompasses being extremely hands-on with an understanding of aluminum welding and the overall product while providing safe and high performing equipment used by workers suspended at height.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES

MIG Weld a variety of aluminum/steel components together to create or repair components for platforms, hoists, etc. Set up, clamp, grind, or bolt materials into proper position prior to welding. Fabricate aluminum components. Reading and understanding blueprints required Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocol. Work with Engineers to improve drawings, costs, manufacturing methods and the development of new products.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

High School diploma or equivalent. 2 years of prior experience in aluminum and steel welding/fabrication. High attention to detail. Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
