Pay:
$17.00-$30.00 per hour Job description: Mogar Metal Works is seeking motivated and skilled welders to join our growing team. We specialize in the fabrication and installation of handrails, structural steel, and miscellaneous metal projects for commercial and residential construction. Position:
Welder / FabricatorResponsibilities Perform MIG and Stick welding on handrails, structural steel, and miscellaneous metal projects. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications. Fabricate and assemble steel components according to project requirements. Measure, cut, fit, and weld materials accurately. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Assist with field installations as needed. Ensure all work meets Mogar Metal Works' quality standards. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of welding experience . Proficiency in MIG welding and Stick welding . Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and measurements . Experience with handrails and structural steel fabrication. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to lift, carry, and work with steel materials safely. Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred but not required . Experience with miscellaneous metals fabrication and installation. Experience operating standard fabrication shop equipment. Experience operating heavy machinery Welding Assessment All applicants must complete a short welding test at our shop prior to employment . This assessment will evaluate welding quality, fabrication skills, blueprint interpretation, and overall workmanship. Compensation $17.00 - $30.00 per hour , based on experience, skill level, welding ability, blueprint-reading proficiency, and overall knowledge of our services. 40-60 hours per week . Overtime opportunities available based on workload and project schedules.
