MIG / TIG
Welder for a direct hire opportunity! The right candidate will bring solid MIG and TIG welding skills to work with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum on precision fabrication projects.
Schedule:
Mon-Thurs, 1st Shift, 10 hour days $22-$25 per hour / Direct Hire What You'll Do Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine welding requirements Weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum using MIG and TIG methods in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions Set up welding equipment and select proper torch, filler rod, and settings based on material type and thickness Inspect welds for bead size, fusion, and overall quality Fit, tack, and assemble parts using jigs and fixtures, and repair broken or cracked parts as needed Clean and finish welded parts, and perform basic maintenance on welding equipmen What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years
MIG / TIG
welding experience in a custom environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints for frame assembly and welding Ability to read a tape measure, calipers, and use weld fillet gauges to check weld size and tolerances Ability to perform basic shop math, including converting decimals to fractions To apply for the
