Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking a Welder to hire at structural steel fabrication company located in Marietta! The ideal candidate should have previous experience, be dependable, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time.

Pay Rate :

$17.00-18.00/hour Requirements for

Welder:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of recent structural steel welding experience required. Must have hands-on experience with 3G Flux Core MIG welding. Experience with overhead and uphill welding is highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings. Experience working with structural steel, stairs, handrails, platforms, and support beams preferred. Ability to safely use welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds. Comfortable working in a fabrication shop environment exposed to heat, sparks, noise, and heavy materials. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to meet production deadlines. Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities of Welder:

Perform 3G Flux Core MIG welding on structural steel components. Weld stairs, handrails, platforms, support beams, and other structural steel assemblies for commercial and industrial projects. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate fabrication. Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications. Operate grinders and other fabrication tools to prepare and finish materials. Assist with fitting, positioning, and securing steel components prior to welding. Follow all quality control standards and safety procedures throughout the fabrication process. Maintain a clean and organized work area while meeting production goals and deadlines. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

1st Shift Available! 1st: Monday-Friday - 7:00AM-4:00
