Job Description
Bison Customs - Welder Bison Customs is a growing custom metal fabrication company specializing in high-quality flatbeds, railings, stairs, and other custom metalwork. We take pride in quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and building products that are made to last. Position Overview We are seeking a dependable Welder to support our fabrication shop with day-to-day welding and metalwork. This position involves hands-on fabrication, cutting, grinding, and assisting with installations while helping maintain a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks
- Take accurate measurements and lay out materials
- Cut metal using saws, angle grinders, or plasma table
- Grind, prep, and finish welds
- Assist in fabrication and assembly of metal components
- Follow instructions from the owners
- Help with installations on job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Operate shop tools and equipment properly
- Pick up supplies and assist with general shop duties Skills & Qualifications
- Basic welding proficiency; willingness to learn and improve
- Strong measuring and layout abilities
- Experience with metal cutting and grinding
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Good work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
