Welder/Fabricator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality structures, and custom fabrications that meet strict safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects across construction sites and manufacturing environments, utilizing a wide range of welding techniques and fabrication skills. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate metal components. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and other welding techniques to join various metals including sheet metal, pipe, and structural steel. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely to move heavy materials and assemblies on construction sites or in fabrication shops. Measure materials precisely using measuring tape and various measurement tools. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proven construction site experience with the ability to adapt welding and fabrication skills to various environments. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, welding techniques; experience with welding required. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate fabrication. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, machining equipment, and rigging gear efficiently. Mechanical knowledge including basic math skills for measurements and calculations; experience with schematics is required. Capable of working with sheet metal, structural steel, piping systems, and other materials used in manufacturing or construction projects. Valid certification or experience in crane operation or forklift driving is a plus; safety-conscious with a focus on quality workmanship.
