Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to determine precise welding and fabrication requirements Perform various welding processes including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards and ASME codes Measure and mark metal materials using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure accurate cuts and welds Operate power tools, plasma cutters, soldering equipment, and other fabrication machinery safely and efficiently Fabricate sheet metal components, assemble metal structures, and perform metal finishing tasks such as grinding, sanding, and polishing Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols while working on construction sites or in the shop environment Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings accurately and execute precise mechanical fabrication tasks Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments or metal fabrication shops with a strong understanding of mechanical blueprint interpretation Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and plasma cutting Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret ASME codes & standards for quality assurance Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, assembly processes, and use of hand tools and power tools Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise measurements Mechanical knowledge related to metal materials, fabrication processes, and safety procedures Experience working with crane operations or handling heavy materials is a plus Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex instructions accurately Join our team today if you're passionate about craftsmanship, committed to safety excellence, and eager to develop your skills in a vibrant manufacturing environment!
